HIV and AIDS programming for underserved communities in Zimbabwe

Who are you trying to help? What issue are you trying to address?

The organisation needs partners who are interested in the HIV and AIDS programs as well as programing in Climate change and adaptation in rural communities. The organisation has HIV and AIDS prevention programs targeting youths in and out of school, voluntary testing and counselling and peer education programs for workplace programs with companies and Prevention of Parent to Child Transmission (PMTCT). It also provides care, support and treatment to people living with HIV and the activities include home based care, support groups for children and adults living with HIV, provision of medicines, provision of nutritional baskets. On mitigating the impact of HIV and AIDS, the organisation does have child care programs which offers psychosocial support to children,vocational skills development and income generating activites for children and adults. In order to promote income security in these vulnerable households the organisation implement food security and livelihood programs. The vehicle has only one vehicle which is now old and is becoming unreliable. Critical transport required are vehicles and bicycles for the community volunteers. The organisation is also looking for partners to develop its building stand inorder to reduce the costs of administration and provide space for all its developmental programs.
